Design and wind simulation of steel structures in a parametric environment

Nowadays, parametric design and various simulation methods are gaining ground in almost every engineering creative profession. The paper investigates the practical applicability of combination these methods, by analysing a specific freeform structure with Grasshopper 3D OpenFOAM pointing out differences between results CFD recommended Eurocode. case study highlights new perspectives that opening up field structural design, especially examination wind effects.
